I took about four months off from formally volunteering at Saratoga National Historical Park. That freed up time to visit some other local locations that I didn't visit a lot last year. What I think ended up happening is I spent more days walking around my local area rather than driving anywhere. The B&W Sprouts project certainly received more attention than if I were at the park a couple of times a week.
I am back on the books as a volunteer at the park now, which is perfect timing for the anniversaries of the battles coming up this month and next. Add a trip to Maine and the Tugboat Roundup and it will be a busy coupe of months.
The 5 Cent Images - Summer 2025 project has ended. I will do another seasonal project with the lens this winter. Here are some scenes from the battlefield today.
