The camera body is a Canon EOS R6 Mark II which was released in late 2023 and which is still a current model. The two lenses are the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM which was introduced with the original EOS R body in late 2018 but which is still a current model (my copy was manufactured in June of 2024) and the Canon RF 50mm f/1.4L VCM which was introduced in October of 2024.
[UPDATE 8/6/25]: That lasted longer than I might have thought although it didn't last the full year. Still, over two months seems like a long time. I gave in to yet another copy of the RF 85mm f/2 IS STM lens, my sixth copy of the lens, believe it or not. The previous copies have either been returned to Best Buy or traded in to MPB. We'll see how long this one stays around.
[UPDATE 9/24/25]: This is how long it lasted. I wasn't using the lens enough to justify its place in the bag. When I wanted to shoot with a prime lens I always chose the 50mm f/1.4L. It's a better lens in many ways. I've added some filters, including the 500D closeup filter for the zoom lens to take the place of the 85mm's closeup capabilities, to the bag in its place.
