Cohoes Falls Pre-Peak Foliage

This morning I noticed there was quite a bit of water coming over the Cohoes Falls and planned on checking out the, soon to close, overlook when the sun got around later in the afternoon. I grabbed the 7D Mark II with the 17-55mm lens and the 5D Mark III with the 70-200mm lens. I used both and ended up adding 18 images to my Cohoes Falls gallery (https://trulandphotography.com/cohoesfalls).

Here are some samples with gear information added in the caption.

Men's College Soccer

The EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens arrived today just in time for a trip to Hartwick College for a men's soccer match with Alfred University. The lens performed well with the 7D Mark II body.

A 101 image gallery can be viewed at https://trulandphotography.com/hmsoc2019. Here are a few samples.

And here's a shot from the 5D Mark III and EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens made at halftime.

It's October

I continue to use the 7D Mark II and 17-55mm f/2.8 lens as my default combination. I have sold my backup 5D Mark III body and with some of the proceeds purchased a used 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens from a camera store in Waterford, Michigan. That lens should arrive tomorrow.

I will certainly sell the 70-300mm f/4-5.6 lens and maybe also the 200mm f/2.8L lens. I would also still like to sell the EF-S 60mm macro lens and maybe also the EF 85mm f/1.8 USM lens. But I first will need to fully check out the 70-200mm lens.

Until then, here are some shots from this morning at Cohoes Falls and lock E2 in Waterford with the 7D Mark II and EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens.
